- Develop software to support dynamically generated web pages using CGI, Perl, JAVAScripts, JAVA applets/servlet, ColdFusion, ASP, etc.
- Design and develop database gateways, agents and brokers to mediate information transfer and integrated delivery.
- Maintain the Welch Medical Library's web services and portal system.
- Examine and evaluate web technologies for subsequent inclusion into the Welch Medical Library's web development platform.
- Work with other technical staff, graphic artists, media designers, subject matter experts and other members of the JHMI community to develop other WWW-based application systems as needed.
- Maintain the instructional technology platform in the library's educational facilities.
